Helping Hands Makes Happy Paws! This month at HHES we are collecting donations to help support our local animal shelters. Wish list items include; dog and cat food, fragrance free laundry detergent, paper towels, bagged and washed used towels, gift cards to Petco, PetSmart, Chewy, Amazon, Walmart or Target

Reminders
Teachers will be reaching out to their classroom families regarding sign ups for donation of treats and supplies Valentine's Day Parties.
February vacation is very late this year! Starting Monday, February 27 through Friday, March 3.
In the case of inclement weather, families will be notified via automatic telephone calls, as well as via the district website and local radio and news stations. In the event of a delay, HHES start time will be 10:45 AM, and there would be no AM kindergarten. Morning bus stops would all be 2 hours later than typically scheduled.
Snow gear is required for students to play in the snow or go sledding. Students need to have the following equipment to play in the snow or go sledding. Don't forget to label as much as possible, especially those easily lost items like gloves and hats!

Husky Hut is open Thursdays and Fridays. Kindergarten. First, Readiness and Second attend Husky Hut on Thursdays, Third and Fourth on Fridays.
Character Trait Of The Month:
Over the past three months we have learned more about the positive character traits of showing kindness, demonstrating flexible thinking and being courageous. For the month of February we will be reviewing these three character traits and how interwoven they are!
