Puppy in the winter

Highbridge Hill Elementary School

December 2022 Husky Howl December

This month’s Helping Hands will be collecting unwrapped new toys that will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul for distribution to local families in need. Donations will be collected through December 16th, in order to allow for Santa to fill his sleigh.

Changes in Dismissal Plans

In the case your child has a change in their dismissal plans,  please make sure to either call or email the Main Office no later than 3:00  and/or send in a note with your child. We are finding that many students are reporting changes to their dismissal plans right around dismissal time, which in turn causes delays. We cannot accept changes to a student's dismissal plans without a written note or phone call from the appropriate family member.

Outdoor Recess Wear

Winter cold is upon us so please remember to make sure your child has a few good layers of clothing so they can stay warm during recess. Students generally have outdoor recess unless the temperature feels less than 10*f degrees or below.  Hats, gloves, jackets and lots of layers are the trick to staying warm.
