Squam Lake Science Center of Holderness, NH, visited HHES’s third graders on October 21st. Students explored the adaptations, traits, and methods of survival of three predators. Students were intrigued by Kyle and Jeremy’s hands-on demonstration and information on the owl’s, falcon’s, and skunk’s survival tricks. The question and answer session also proved to be a learning experience for both students and teachers. Thanks to the HHES PTA for providing funds for the visit.
