Animal Habitat

The 2nd Grade classes worked vigorously to complete a project on their chosen animal. They did research on that animal for their Animal Habitat Research Reports. They wrote a report and made a diorama or poster.  Each class then transformed their classrooms to represent these habitats.  The habitats included were The Arctic, The Savanna, The Woodland Forest and The Rainforest.  Students shared animal facts and displayed projects. Parents, families and friends were invited to visit the "habitats" and listen to students present facts about the animals.  The exhibits were very well attended by families and friends.  The students are always so happy and proud to have visitors at HHES.  Thanks to all who took time out of their busy day to participate.
