In lieu of adding additional school days to the end of the year, the School Board has approved Snow Day Learning Days. At this point all students should have been sent home with a  Snow Day Learning Packet. This packet includes assignments from their classroom teacher, unified arts teacher and, if applicable, work from interventionists.  Each grade level has selected grade appropriate materials and assignments, and has provided information to their students about expectations for the completion and return of work completed during any “snow learning days.” If you have any questions please reach out to your child’s teacher for more details.  In the event of inclement weather, the Superintendent will state if it will be a “snow learning day” in their announcement.

HEEP is back and will be running on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Five weeks, starting March 21st and then will run through April 20th.

Character Trait Of The Month:

Over the past few months we have discussed kindness, flexibility and courage and this month we will be talking about accountability.

Reminders

Snow gear is required for students to play in the snow or go sledding. Students need to have the following equipment to play in the snow or go sledding.  Don't forget to label as much as possible, especially those easily lost items like gloves and hats!

Husky Hut is open Thursdays and Fridays.  Kindergarten. First, Readiness and Second attend Husky Hut on Thursdays, Third and Fourth on Fridays.

We are thankful for the staff and family volunteers who make HEEP happen! This Spring we are offering a variety of great activities including: cooking club, 9 Square, Spanish, Walking Club, Arts and Crafts, Origami and so much more!
