CONGRATULATIONS AND COMMENDATIONS ONCE AGAIN TO THE MRSD CLASS OF 2021!! A wonderful graduation was held last Friday evening and we wish all of our graduates well on the next steps of their journey in life.
Final Day of School for Students: Friday, June 11th. This will be a full day of school.
MRSD In-Person w livestreaming School Board Meeting: Please join us on Monday, June 14th at 6 pm for first a Public Hearing on ESSER funding followed by a Mascenic School Board Financial meeting. MRSD Brand New Website has LAUNCHED!! With the launch of the new website, we have also adopted a new voice messaging system that allows us to make voice calls to families. You may have received a phone call from an Arkansas number in the past. However, that has been remedied. Moving forward you should phone calls with numbers from the Mascenic Regional School District.
UPDATE ON STUDENT VACCINATIONS: Both BMS and MRHS will be holding Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics this Friday. More information will be forthcoming from the schools.

Bright Futures Survey: The NH DOE (Department of Education) wants to hear from YOU! Please take some time to visit our website and take the survey from the NH DOE. You’ll find this located in the News section.
ESY (Extended School Year) for MRSD Students and Families! This year’s program will run July 6th - 29th on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Pre-K will meet 9 - 11 am. All other grades (K-12) will meet 9 am - 12 pm. Elementary students will be at Highbridge Elementary. Boynton and Mascenic students will be at MRHS. If you have any questions, please contact the SAU at 291-2015.
USDA Waiver for Food Services: The food program that we have been running this past school year, with FREE meals for all of our MRSD students and all school-age students in our community, will continue through September 30, 2021. (NOTE: If you know of any non-MRSD families who could benefit from this waiver, please reach out to Mrs. Cheryl Caissie at our SAU. She can be reached at ccaissie@mascenic.org or by phone at 291-2008.). These meals are provided free of charge as part of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020, USDA Food & Nutrition Service waiver. MealTime application for Free and Reduced Lunch: The MealTime Apply Online application is NOW online and on our website www.mascenic.org. We have received significantly fewer applications this year than last. While all meals are free at this time the waiver is temporary. However, we will need to know who qualifies for assistance moving forward.. Click on the link below for the application:
Substitute Teacher Application Information: If you are interested in substitute teaching, we have placed a copy of our application in our Parent Resource section on our website that you may print out and complete (please scroll down through the documents in the Parent Resource section to see “MRSD Employment Application”). If you would like to pick up a paper copy, please call Cheryl Caissie at the SAU office at 291-2008. Once you have completed your application, you may scan it and email it to Cheryl Caissie ccaissie@mascenic.org or drop it by the SAU office at 16 School Street, Greenville. Once we have your completed application, we will call to set up an interview with you.
Our process for being hired as a substitute teacher in our district consists of the following:
Completed employment application
Interviewing with one of our administrators
Reference checks conducted
Once you have been approved to substitute, we will then have you complete the following:
Criminal Background Check
Completion of W-4 Employee Withholding Certificate, I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form
Direct Deposit Form
Substitute availability form
