The office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment’s goal is to help provide a rich learning experience for all students that promotes high levels of student engagement and drive to pursue lifelong learning.
The Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment plays a pivotal role in the educational system by ensuring that teaching and learning processes are structured, effective, and aligned with established academic standards and outcomes. This office is responsible for ensuring that staff and students have the resources necessary to implement a coherent curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students. We provide training and support around sound instructional practices that foster engagement and critical thinking in the classroom. Additionally, this office evaluates and hones assessment data to accurately report on student learning and outcomes to inform teaching practices and curricular adjustments, determine the allocation of resources, and focus areas for professional development. This office works in collaboration with staff and building administrators to advance the overall quality of education and support the continuous professional development of staff, ultimately enhancing student achievement.
