We are thrilled to announce that Jeremy Taylor will be the new Assistant Principal at Mascenic Regional High School. Mr. Taylor has been an integral part of MRHS for 7 years, and we are excited to work with him as he takes on this new leadership role, continuing to advance his career in education.
As your new leadership team, our goal is to foster a positive outlook for the year ahead for students, faculty, and the community as a whole. We are looking forward to a wonderful 24-25 school year!
Mrs. Stacy Maghakian
Interim Principal, MRHS

We are pleased to announce that Stacy Maghakian has accepted the position of Interim Principal at Mascenic Regional High School for the 2024-2025 school year, while Dr. Pogorzelski assumes the role of Interim Superintendent of Schools. Ms. Maghakian finished the second part of the year at MRHS as assistant principal. A huge thank you to those who were on the interview committee and contributed to this important decision. We are grateful for the continuity during this transition to the new school year!
Education has been a cornerstone of Mrs. Maghakian’s personal and professional journey. In addition to growing up in a home with both parents in education, she herself has been in education for almost three decades. Her roles varied from a tutor, classroom teacher, substitute, coach, paraprofessional, custodian, volunteer, mentor, and administrator. She considers herself a lifelong learner and is eager to continue her journey as a part of the Mascenic Community. She currently resides in Milford with her two young daughters and enjoys reading, gardening, decorating, and spending time with friends and family.
In the next few weeks, Ms. Maghakian will convene a team to interview assistant principal candidates.
We look forward to the 2024-2025 school year!
