“HUNT FOR SUCCESS”
From April 20 to April 23 the students at HHES enjoyed a math scavenger hunt called a ‘Hunt for Success”. On the three days, each class got a clue in their pod under their teacher’s name. The clue was a riddle they had to solve which led them to a location outside the school. Once at this location, they found another clue with a math riddle to solve accompanied by an activity related to their solution. After completing their activity, the class took the white envelope found with their clue back to class. This envelope contained a math problem they had to solve as a team.
After completing all three problems, the students, as a class, could visit the back of the school on Friday, where they would receive a ‘surprise’ for their ‘success’. This was a great way to sharpen math skills, do some team bonding and have fun before April vacation!
