MRHS- We are still looking for athletes in grades 7-12 to join the Varsity Girls Basketball team; practices are 4:30-6:00. Students can participate in multiple sports if they have cleared it through their coaches. All ability levels are welcome!
One of Ms. Pope's classes had the opportunity to create the homes of the Native American tribes they have been studying. You see here a Tipi from the Lakota, A long house with a Totem Pole from the Tlingit, A Cherokee summer home, and a Pueblo from the Hopi.
BMS - Veteran's Day Breakfast:
In the event of a delayed opening or school closure due to weather tomorrow 11/9/23, we will postpone the Veteran's Day Breakfast until Monday, November 13, 2023, at 8 AM. If you are or have a Veteran family member who would like to have breakfast with your Boynton Middle School student, please fill out the Google Form (Listed in the most recent "Boynton Blasts" under the "News" section of our website). BMS -Sports CANCELLATIONS/UPDATES for 10/17/23: The Field Hockey game has been cancelled for today. Practice will still be held today at it's usual time.

It will be rescheduled and we will update the Athletic Events calendar on our website once we have the new date. There will be no practice as well today. Players may leave their Field Hockey bags in the building over the weekend if they want. There will also be no Soccer or Cross Country practice today. *All parents are being notified by coaches.
Our BMS staff had an amazing time at the Viking 5K on Saturday 9/16/23! Boynton Middle School has been named Mascenic Regional School District's most athletic staff for 2023-2024!
BMS - Sports CANCELLATIONS/UPDATES for 9/18/23:
The home Cross Country meet is still scheduled to happen today, yes, even in the rain.
The Field Hockey and Soccer games have been CANCELLED for today. Field Hockey will practice today in the gym from 2:30-4pm and Soccer will practice today in the gym from 4-5:30pm. Soccer players will need to go home and return to school for practice. All parents have been notified.

The Cross Country meet has been cancelled for today. There is no practice today.
Volleyball will have practice 2:30pm-4:00pm today.
Field Hockey will hold practice in the Boynton gym today from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Athletes will need to go home and arrive back to Boynton at practice time with sneakers.
Soccer will hold practice today in Room 112 after school from 2:30pm-3:30pm.

Congratulations to our 8th grade students who had an amazing time at 8th grade Farewell on Thursday 6/8! The 8th grade class wanted to go out in style and they rocked it! Wishing you the best of luck at Mascenic next year and beyond! We are hoping all of our students have a wonderful summer!

Tryouts for Baseball, Softball and Track & Field will begin the week of 3/27/23. Anyone who is trying out for a Spring Sport must sign up through Family ID.
Softball and Track and Field will hold tryouts Monday, March 27th - Thursday the 30th. Softball will be in the Boynton gymnasium from 2:30-4:15pm. Track and Field will be at Mascenic and students will need to take the buses to the high school. Bus passes will be needed and handed out by the Athletic Directors on Monday 3/27 prior to dismissal. Please have your parents pick you up at Mascenic at 4pm. Baseball tryouts will be Tuesday the 28th through the 30th from 4:15 until 6pm. For all tryouts you will need proper clothing and a water bottle. Softball and Baseball you will need a glove, if you do not own one, please borrow one until you make the team as cuts will have to be made.
Clinics for Softball are the next two Mondays from 2:30-4pm. This week the Softball clinic that was advertised for Wednesday, will need to be held Thursday 3/16, NOT WEDNESDAY as announced last week, from 2:30-4pm. Baseball clinics for the next two weeks are Wednesday from 4:30-6 pm and Sunday mornings from 7am - 9am.
BMS-Wednesday March 8th Boynton held our Winter Sports awards! Thank you to all who were able to attend!
The 8th grade students went on a field trip Conval on Wednesday 2/15/23 to check out the CTE Programs that they offer to students. Some 8th graders decided to dress up in fire gear!

Spreading some holiday cheer at the Boynton Mutt Hutt! Starting Wednesday, November 30 until Holiday break Amy Koukkari will have a Holiday table set up at the Mutt Hutt! Please note that this will be on Wednesdays during lunches ONLY! Students will be able to buy gifts for their family members - There will be gifts for parents/caregivers, siblings, pets and some sweet treats! Tell your kiddos and spread the word!
Congratulations to the Field Hockey team who beat Weare yesterday, 3-1 in the Semi Finals! The team travels to Bow today (10/28) to play for the Division 3 Finals at 3:30pm. Good luck Lady Bulldogs!
On Friday 10/28/22 there will be a Halloween Dance & Open Gym to benefit the BMS class of 2023's trip to Washington D.C.! Costumes are encouraged since there will be a costume contest, but we need to be able to see your face, so no masks. Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold ONLY at lunches starting on Wednesday 10/26 and there will be no tickets will be sold at the door. Make sure to bring some extra money, because we will be selling pizza, drinks & snacks as well! Drop off & pick up will be at the Cafeteria door entrance. Please make sure that your ride is here to pick you up by 8pm.
BMS - This coming Wednesday, October 5th we will be having Fall Sports team and individual pictures! Today, athletes were called down to see Mrs. Veeser and were given order forms to bring home. Please make sure that on Wednesday, your student wears their team uniform. The Cross Country team will be taking pictures first so that they can ride the bus to Mascenic for practice that day.
