Good morning BMS Families,
Hopefully, you are all dry and warm on this dreary and rainy Saturday morning. Below is some updated information, along with an attachment for our upcoming spirit week.
A note from the school nurse:
The nurse’s office needs healthy snacks and water bottles to last the rest of the school year. Please drop off granola bars, fruit, meat sticks, etc., in the main office.
We are seeing an uptick in sickness and allergies this time of year. Please be diligent in communicating with the school nurse about any known/ chronic medical needs and medications (inhalers, allergy medication, etc.).
Please be aware of drinks being sent/ brought in from home for lunch. Although we do not have a specific policy against consuming soda and energy drinks, I encourage parents not to send their children to school with these beverages. Could you remind your child that they must be consumed in the cafeteria only if they bring them? ONLY WATER is allowed in hallways and classrooms.
Thank you,
Mrs. Heaphy, RN

Spirt Week
Next week, we will recognize neurodiversity support, understanding, and acceptance. Wednesday is Autism Awareness/Acceptance Day. This is a new recognition and celebration for us. The end goal is accepting each other as we are. I've attached the flyer for the week.
