Highbridge Hill Elementary School services the students in grades Pre K-4 in the small rural communities of Greenville and New Ipswich.
Our approach to educating our students is collaborative, fueled with high expectations and a rigorous and relevant curriculum that will result in high student achievement and success. We incorporate current best teaching practices that assist in our quest to create critical thinkers and life-long learners.
We believe that collaboration, shared responsibility, and respecting different views/opinions allows us to continually focus on accomplishing the schools’ mission and goals.
It Is highly noticeable to anyone who enters HHES that this school encompasses a myriad of exciting activities that establishes strong bonds with the entire community both young and old, as we continue on our dally journey to make children our priority and to reinforce our mission of “Two Communities, One Goal Success for All”.
What strange weather we have been having. It is hard to figure out what type of outdoor gear to send with your children.
We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday February 20-24. Mrs. Damery is organizing guest readers to come and read to our children and a few fun activities. More information will be coming home soon about this event.
Kindergarten Registration will be March 15th. If you have a child who will be turning five years old by September 30th please come and register on that evening. If you know of someone who has a child of that age, please share this information with him or her. The times are 5:30-6:30 for last names beginning with A-M and 6:30 – 7:30 for last names beginning with N-Z.
Classes will be having their Valentine Parties February 14th. Thank you to the Room Mothers for organizing treats for these parties.
One of our library rocking chairs needs repair. If there is a handy man out there that could come and look at it and let me know what it would take to fix it, I would appreciate it. They are such beautiful chairs; I am hoping it can be repaired.
Reminder: The Fisher Cats reading challenge is fast approaching. Don’t forget to mail in your Fisher Cat card for free tickets. The Fisher Cats will be sending us some extra cards if your child needs another one.
Also, classes could use some ribbon for their kindness wreaths if you have some extra or are shopping and could pick up a roll. Thanks!
