Highbridge Hill Elementary School services the students in grades Pre K-4 in the small rural communities of Greenville and New Ipswich.
Our approach to educating our students is collaborative, fueled with high expectations and a rigorous and relevant curriculum that will result in high student achievement and success. We incorporate current best teaching practices that assist in our quest to create critical thinkers and life-long learners.
We believe that collaboration, shared responsibility, and respecting different views/opinions allows us to continually focus on accomplishing the schools’ mission and goals.
It Is highly noticeable to anyone who enters HHES that this school encompasses a myriad of exciting activities that establishes strong bonds with the entire community both young and old, as we continue on our dally journey to make children our priority and to reinforce our mission of “Two Communities, One Goal Success for All”.
Welcome to Fall.
Just a reminder about the Jump for Puerto Rico, Jump A Thon which will begin next week. Pledge sheets are due on November 17th. We are in communication with a Principal there and will make sure the funds go to that school. I hope that this will turn into a relationship with pen pals or skyping.
Helping Hands will also be starting their next drive in November. We will be collecting toys for children in our communities.
The Spook Parade will be at 2:00 sharp on the 31st. The entrance road will be blocked off for the parade so get here early.
Parent Teacher conferences are on November 9th. If you do not have an appointment for your conference yet, please contact your child’s teacher. This is a very busy day for them; so, if you cannot make your allotted time, please call the office and we will notify the teacher.
We are still in need of volunteers for first (10:30-11:30), second (11:15-12:15) and third (11:50-12:50) grade lunches and recesses. Please call the office at 878-4387 if you can help.
We are also in need of substitute teachers. If you have the calling, you can sign up at the SAU office.
Thanks to all who visited Scarecrow Pete and his scarecrows along the Storybook Trail. November 1st will feature the book Pumpkin Soup.
