Yesterday 10/9/2019, the Lady Bulldogs opened up their game against Epping with a slow start.
Paige Somero served up 4, as her team continued to play they didn't let Epping score more than two points at a time. Ella Pearson and Katalina Davis each served up three. The starting six had a set total of 16 attacks on the net. Mackenzie Cormier and Pearson each had two kills, while Davis had the team high of three. Game one ended, 25 -14.
In set two, the team found their groove. Pearson served up three aces to put the team up by 6 followed by Delaney Traffie who stretched the lead to eight. Lindsey Coponen closed out the game serving up 8 points for the win, 25-8.
Game 3 Mackenzie Vaillancourt started her team off strong with 10 service points, 5 of them aces. Vaillancourt even showed off her overhand serve for a couple of points. Shayla Saari added 3 to the lead and Brooke Bishop closed out the game serving up the last 5 points. Brennah McDonald, Valerie Stenersen, and Megan Aho each had a save to keep the ball in play for the win, 25-8.
The Volleyball team is currently 11-0 and plays in their final season game next Tuesday 10/15/2019 at Litchfield.
