Boynton Spring Sports Try-Out Schedule

Spring has sprung and the Boynton Track, Baseball & Softball seasons are about to begin.    Tryouts will take place during the week of March 25th.

Mixed Results in Tri-County Semi-Finals

Both the boys' and girls' basketball teams made it all the way to the semi-finals this season.  That is quite and accomplishment and one that we are all proud of.  Both teams played against a Hopkinton in this round.

The girls lost a tough away game.  The entire team played their hearts out and gave 110%, but came up a bit short.  The coaches and all of Boynton are so very proud. The girls and coaches should feel proud about their super season.

The boys comfortably won their game against Hopkinton.  The game was close in the early going, but then outstanding defense and shooting gave the bulldogs and early lead.  It was a team effort and one to be proud of. By the 4th quarter the boys had built a comfortable lead.   For the 8th graders, it was their last game at Boynton.  Each 8th grade boy presented their mom/family with a single rose.

The boys will play Saturday Feb. 2nd at 11:30 at Epping High School.  Go Bulldogs!

For those who attended the game they were able to witness our amazing cheer team!  Their cheers could be heard throughout the gym giving our team an added boost.  They performed some fantastic pyramids and synchronized cheers throughout the game.  One visiting parent was heard to say that the Boynton Cheer Team was the best that she'd seen all season and that she'd seen many.  These girls are also true athletes and work very hard preparing and performing.  We at Boynton are very proud of you and thank you for all your hard work!

Boynton Boys & Girls Move on to Semi-Finals

Both the boys and girls won their first round play-off game Monday in impressive fashion!

In the first game, the girls controlled the game from beginning to end defeating Henry Moore (47-26).  Led, as usual by Brynn R. who controlled the pace of the game and scored 15 points.  Hannah Z. played an amazing game scoring 16 points.  Kenzie C added  6 points in the second quarter alone, along with playing amazing defense both on the press and all over the floor.

In the 2nd game, the boys easily handled an improved Derryfield team (59-37).  Playing smothering defense and scoring from all over the court, it was a great team effort to secure the victory.

Both teams play Hopkinton in semi-final games tomorrow.  The Boynton boys will host the game here at BMS, while the girls travel to Hopkinton for their game.  Go Bulldogs
