The administration, and staff of Boynton Middle School would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer!  Congratulations to our 8th grade.  The Monday evening ceremony was awesome.  Good luck next year at Mascenic High School.  To our 5th, 6th and 7th graders who will be moving up, we will be looking forward to great things in 2019-2020!  We also are looking forward to our new class of 5th graders.  Boynton is a great school and we are happy that you will be becoming a part of it!  See you on August 27th!  :-)

Sixth Grade Supply List

7th Grade 2019 Letter and Student Supply List



Dear Parents and incoming 7th Graders:

Welcome to 7th grade!  We are looking forward to a great year.  To help make a smooth transition to 7th grade we have included a list of behavioral and academic expectations as well as a list of supplies.  We encourage all 7th graders to come prepared to class daily with supplies and their own assignment notebook.


Be courteous and respectful by:

Listening to others.

Raising hand and being recognized before speaking.

Using low voices during group work.

Being silent during instructions.

Be cooperative by:

Listening and following directions.

Moving in and out of groups efficiently.

Helping your group be successful.

Be honest by:

Doing your best.

Asking questions when you don’t understand.

Doing quality work.

Always follow the rules in the Student Handbook


7th grade supply list:

General supplies: colored pencils, highlighters different colors, pens and pencils, glue sticks, assignment notebook you need to purchase (school is no longer providing)

Math: One 2in binder, one 3 subject  spiral bound notebook or 3 single subject notebooks, one pocket folder for homework, pencils(wooden or mechanical), extra lead, erasers, hand held pencil sharpener that has an attached container for shavings, pens(any color not neon), 12 inch ruler, Calculator that has a square root sign    and +/- positive/negative integer button. Calculator cost should not exceed $10.

English Language Arts: One composition notebook 100 pages not spiral

Social Studies: One 1 inch binder, filler paper,subject dividers, pocket folder

Science: One 70 page spiral notebook

  11. Pencil sharpener that holds the pencil shavings
